Here's a photo of Chinook Pass, which was about 100 miles west of where I lived. The air was so clear there that we could see Mount Rainer from our front porch.



This particular year, 95 vertical feet of snow fell on Mount Baker, a nearby popular ski resort. The skiers loved it - I couldn't wait for sping. wink
