I am planning to do a medley of US marches and patriotic songs for an upcoming gig at a retirement center. When you see just about every single man(well, a lot of women, too) in their 90s having served in military and many folks in their 80s too, US marches and patriotic songs are always appreciated. I have always played them solo, but I am thinking of using vArranger for backup. So far, the few styles I have tried are too busy. Even Band In A Box has very limited, cheesy march styles. Since vArranger can read most of the major style formats, if anyone has some good styles for US marches and patriotic songs, please let me know.
