It's been almost 5 years since I've taken a different board out and today I must try the 1000!

I've mapped out everything from the 3X and feel pretty confident that all should go well.

Also, first job outside the dang flu, which still has me a bit down after a week. I canceled a lot of jobs last week.

here goes............

Good luck, Jim, I'm sure everything will go well. Probably a good idea to take some hand sterilizer with you, avoid close contact with others. Although you may feel better, you are probably still contagious to others, and you are still quite vulnerable to a relapse because your immune system is weakened. It usually takes about 3 to 4 weeks before you are safe from the effects of the flu.

Good luck,

Gary cool

Good luck with the new 'orchestra' and sucessful performance Jim.

Usually the public won't notice any instrument replaced if they're not told about it,
but they sure will if it makes Jim a much better entertainer than he already is.
As said at this forum so many times, it's not the keyboard, it's the player. wink

Jim,

Knowing what I know of your talent.........it will be a piece of cake for you. Good luck.

Hitchhiking a little on Gary’s comments about hand sanitizer. I’m playing a weekly piano solo gig here in Florida in a lobby of a medical center. The first week I took along some sanitizing wipes, but when I got to the gig there was already a container of them supplied. Since there are different pianists who touch the keys I usually wipe down the keys and my nads(hands not nads smile :):) )before and after the gig.

I've performed with radically different keyboards ( Korg Micro Arranger, Ketron Audya 5, Tyros 4, even an entry level Yamaha) and not one time did anybody in the audience notice the change and this is at places I play regularly. That's been my experience anyways....
