Paul, you must keep in mind that mos of the time, you are on stage with a host of wonderful musicians and entertainers. The keyboard is not the star of your show, your entire band is, therefore, few if any audience members would notice any difference. However, if you were performing as an OMB entertainer, I can assure you that the audiences do notice when there is a dramatic change or upgrade in the keyboard. When I performed with a 5-piece country band, a drummer, bass player, rhythm guitar player, lead guitar player and me at the keyboard, everyone considered me the piano player, while I only used that instrument for a small number of the songs we performed. I was also one of three vocalists, so I was pretty much known to the audiences as the the singer that plays piano. I can't play piano at all - too hard on the hands. All the best, Gary
