Wow, that is impressive! We barely had any snow at all this winter...

And thank you Jim, I quite enjoy Yamaha, even though of course I am adapting still. But a lot of previous preconceptions were shaken.

And it is quite funny, as all started with this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSlBk7ZMs7c and this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnLpaDyF_vU

Korg might be freshier and crisper a tad more, but didn't think it was worth almost double the price.

Anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread a little bit. I'll watch myself. smile

Wow, that is some serious white stuff smile Now I don't feel so bad when I take to the road in a bit.

You too Adi, have fun with your Y. I played live for 2 years with my first board, PSR 3000. Was a terrific board and got me started in the right direction. Looking back at videos, it sounded fantastic and the crowd loved it. I actually composed a song "Soldier Boy" entirely on that board and I still get many compliments today on the composition. I used a Roland style and used its sequencer to finish the song, along with backup harmonies through a Roland BR1180 CD. The good old days, as they say.

tony, when I lived in Spokane, WA we had 100 vertical inches of snow on the ground the first winter we lived there. A short distance away, in Stampede Pass, WA they annually closed the road in mid September and it did not reopen until mid June the following year. Snow depths there regularly reached depths recorded in vertical feet - not inches.

Carol and I used to travel to the nearby town of Republic, WA to attend their annual rodeo. We had a close friend that was a participant and owned a half dozen quarter horse race horses. Though it was only small town rodeo, the stakes were pretty high during the races. It was called the Ferry County Fair. Every small town in Eastern Washington had a rodeo taking place nearly every at one or more of them. It was fun for the entire family, my children absolutely loved it and it was a wonderful time when families gathered in a single location for the sole purpose of enjoying life. For me, life was lot easier back then. And, it was a wonderful environment to raise a family. The only downside was winter.

All the best,

Gary cool

Yes, 200cm, but late today it's some places close to 300cm (3 metres) and forecast say it's still coming more.
The big problem is that temperature get a bit higher and the snow gets wet... heavy weight for the roofs and campingtrailers to hold.
If this continues, snow will not melt before next winter starts and we can go skiing during all the summer.
Oh well, kids will love it ... laugh

Pls,
anyone are welcome to post something to put thrad back to track. cool
