I’m wanting to keep Genos at this time, so would need to sell my PA4X. The keyboard comes with an SKB hard shell case. PM if interested.

What was the final straw that made you decide?...

It isn’t settled yet. I told my wife I would sell one of the keyboards I’m not using. So we’ll see if the 4X sells.

Guitpic1, I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying the Genos and we know the price is steep if it’s not a stretch you may want to keep it. I write that because I got message from a friend of mine today. He had been complaining about some pain in the jaw, the guy is in shape walks just about everyday, his weight is well under 200 pounds watches his food intake all the time. Short story he went in for a procedure to check his heart and next thing you know they had to perform an emergency triple bypass. Life’s too short and that’s some of my reasoning for having a Pa4x and a Genos. My dad passed at 64, I just turned 66 so I’ve got 2 more years than he did, no telling when my number may be called.

The cost of the Genos is about the same as a year of slip rent and winter storage for my sailboat - no biggie in the scheme of things. And, if you enjoy the sounds of what you are playing, you can get years upon years of wonderful enjoyment out of the Genos, just as I have managed to get many years of enjoyment out of my sailboat. When it's no longer fun, I'll stop doing it, but as long as it is fun, I will continue. They kids already know that good old dad is pissing away their inheritance as fast as he can.
