Gary, didn't you see how much good music it came out of the 'Hippie age' when most all,
well, at least many, was 'stoned'?
Yes, I know you fight with bad health too, and sadly I have not much other to offer than
wish you all the best and that you can recover to be able to sail your beloved ship again.
Ai ai, Captain!

Sure, I'll buy a Genos, but I won't pay a nickel over $3,000.

Don, you made those 970 guitars really come to life. Lighter keyboard feel and portability as well.

If your interested...could part with mine in mint condition for $1500, or special b/o for you.

Hi Don,

I can't help but noticing that the streetprice in the US of A is in between 5000 and 5500 bucks, so I guess that is going to leave you "empty-handed" if you stick to your offer. smile
You mention the keybed and it being too heavy on the PA4X so I guess what is left would be a choice between the Korg PA700/1000
and the Yammie PSR 950 or 970 ? I played both the PA700 and the PA1000 of course. The PA700 keybed imho is absolutely dreadful , I guess the PA1000 is pretty similar to the PSR series..........
Whatever you decide I hope it turns out well for you and that you may long enjoy your next choice !!!

regards
John

Hi Don, so sorry to hear that.
Have you considered leaving Korg for home use and leaving something with lighter key feel at work. Bit extravagant, but just a thought.
I sold my technics kn7000 at a bad time in my life ( not because of financial reasons) and it’s the one keyboard I’ve regretted selling ever since.

If it’s a case of wanting a change, that’s different. Hope you find something you enjoy.

Thanks John, if I were more of a piano player I'd probably agree about the keys, but I like them really light and fast!
Rikki, that's a good idea, and one I've considered. I won't be in a big rush to sell the 4x, but if the opportunity arises...
I very seldom play at home unless it's to learn a song, and I can do that with a guitar.
I will probably use a PSR S970. If my health improves, they are easy to sell, and maybe by then something else will be on the horizon. What I play will have zero impact on my audience or employer, as long as it sounds good, and most everything does now.

Hi Don, these adjustments are not fun. If you could use a like new PSR S770 I could send you mine at no charge. Better you use it than I just look at it. regards, charles

Wow, Charles, that's a great offer, but I already acquired an S970. All I have to do is plug in my USB stick and start playing! I really appreciate the offer. That is extremely kind and generous!
Thank you!
