I unfortunately have some sad (shocking) news to share. I just found out that Bebop's wife, Jann, suffered a heart attack earlier today (Thursday). She's currently in the hospital in intensive care. I am praying for her recovery and hope we can all pull together to offer Bebop our prayers of support as well. - Scott

whatever other differences manifest themselves here, they pale into insignificance when compared to the truly universal and higher important things in life.
There is no price that can be put upon health and happiness and lifelong partnership.

As an inseparable pair Ruthie and me can understand the pain. Our prayer is that your two hearts will once again beat together in rhythm as you hold each other in a warm embrace. And we ask our God as creator of life itself to give you both many more years of holding hands as you both walk further down the path of life. We also would like to thank Our God who holds the secrets of life in his hands for the life and happiness we have been allowed to experience thus far. Dear BEBOP, I have just signed on to the Forum after several days away and one of thge first messages I see is the sad news of Jan's illness. After the unpleasant group of messages posted prior to this one, concerning the changing attitudes in Forum format, perhaps this untimely and tragic event has brought us all closer together and we can forget the backbiting, etc. that seems to be driving us apart as colleagues and friends of the wonderful keyboards we celebrate herein. May I join all the others who already have spoken above before me in wishing you all the best for Jan's rapid recovery. Like those other messages, my humble thoughts and prayers also go out to you both and, perhaps, the heartfelt sympathies we have all expressed herein will resound into a universal world prayer of hope that results in a happy conclusion to the fright and despair you must be suffering these past few days as you await the outcome. If and when you read these messages from your friends--(and we all ARE your friends, Bill and Jan!!)--perhaps they will console you in some small way, since there is so little else we can actually do to assist you right now.
