Quite frankly the Roland EA7 covers all the arranger needs for me ....
I am considering adding a Roland FA-07 workstation to my studio rig also. cool2

I guess Im just so bored with the same ho hum repetitious sounds of arranger styles year after year and I'm diggin' "creating music" the way I want it to sound like I used to do before arrangers were invented years ago..having both serves two purposes..we'll see..

cool2

I guess it all comes down to taste ( and bucks) in the end Mel.
I agree that personally I would probably also do all of my gigs ( if I were gigging) with a keyboard like the PA1000. To the best of my knowledge Uncle Dave does....
And like I mentioned before like him I set very great store by the fact that it has excellent amplificiaton and internal speakers. However the fact remains that the PA4X has just a little bit more of everything ( apart from the speakers) and a more solid built in general. Me, I am quite happy with the PA1000 and I spend an hour a day programming my Resources....

John

Donny, why don't you p.m. Jim/Zuki. I believe he transferred files from his 3x to pa1000 before opting not to keep it.

Hahhaa...sure did and now I'm doing the same with the 4X. I was able to take the custom styles saved in the 1000 and easily put in the 4X user styles. Made life very easy!
