Apparently not, in another post AJ responded that the SD line is independent of the Audya Series and not the replacement/flagship of the Audya.

I remember this was talked about in another thread/post, where AJ said SD series is not any Audya replacement.
Those are different 'beasts' in many ways as far as I understood it, but AJ will probably chime in and repeat what he wrote.

I'm wondering about all these new boards, SD60/SD9/SD90
Whats going to happen with the SD7/SD40? I have not heard the SD9 but I own an SD7, are the boards really different?
