You just have to use it in a different way than you might have before . I understand if using a foot pedal to switch on and off was what you were used to and now you have to press a button or whatever .But how is that a huge problem ?

I just thought the title was very misleading .

Spalding it IS CERTAINLY A BIG HUGE PROBLEM for PRO "POWER SINGLES" when performing like Uncle Dave, Myself and others....
it was a standard feature in all previous models!!
....why KORG Changed it is unknown at this time..

Can you switch VH off and on yes or no ? It’s certainly not a huge problem .... you just don’t like the way you need to do it using an expression pedal. If that’s a huge problem for you then fair enough . I will but out now as obviously “pro powers singles “ seem to face challenges in using the board that us mere amateurs don’t .

Spalding no problem it will be addressed and or remedied somehow..
hopefully back to previous models scenario as before...pro singers that really use the VH alot will understand what we're talking about. I'd hate to have to keep HOLDING DOWN the pedal when I need VH in a song EACH TIME.

I wish the PA4X would work like that. I would LOVE to have vh only when I hold the pedal down. I just got a pedal to try it. Of course I have to wait for the kb to arrive.

That's because you're a "mere amateur"; once you become a "PRO POWER SINGLE" you'll see the world differently smile smile.

Back to the OP ...
I can see that a pedal you hold down for VH could have its benefits, but having always used a 'press on/press off pedal it doesn't bother me ... plus, the only other pedal I use is the sustain ...
