Greetings all. I traded my old PA 50 to Samash for a new PA 1000. I'm not a manual reader (and it's not very helpful) so can I import new styles for this synth via usb? I was able to download tons of styles for my pa 50 onto floppies but not sure what's compatible and how to do it for this new one. I know you can convert midi and mp files directly to styles but thought you can bring in new Korg styles as well.
Forgot to say that all the styles on the Korg style shop do not list compatibility for pa 1000. Can pa 900 styles work on the new PA?

Update: Ok, I'm learning a bit. Found the Korg bonus ware site. Now another question. Can anyone tell me if all the sty files are forward compatible from Pax1 to Pax 1000? I have a bunch of PA50 styles. Can they be used on the 1000? Also, I've always wondered about the naming format. Why is the folder called Styl-v01.set and then inside that folder, STYLE and then USER01.STY for the style name? Is this how the arrange determines its a Korg PA file? How are they kept separate inside the arranger?
