I agree Marilyn. Not sure I remember right but I think the town was Aiken, S.C. They were supposed to close on the house on the 15th of Sept. Hopefully we will hear from them soon.

Hello Gang,
I am alive and well and setting up in Aiken, SC. Have not used the internet as cable/DSL was not available and cannot get use to snail Internet (dial-up). I have a Gmail account but it takes 10 minutes with Earthlink to read any mail.
Received word today that I will have cable with High Speed Internet next week and I should be back to normal with most of the move completed.
It will take me a month to read all the messages on the forum.
I am new to the forum so I am unaware of your past presence on the forum. The mystery topic reminded me of Baby Jane Hudson from "Whatever Happened To Baby Jane." We all know who she was. Anyway, glad you are still with us. You must have made quite an impression with everyone on the forum to be so concerned and get so many replies. Stay well.

Fran, good to see your name on the screen again. I know what it's like to be out of touch for months on end and how long it takes to catch up on the reading, so I can sympathize with your frustration. It may take some time to get used to seeing "Fran in SC", though. Maybe you'll get some snow in your new location.
Sorry, but "SC" says nothing to me. But as I understood you moved and now are successfully back online. Welcome back on the forum and great to read that you are fine.

Aiken is a city in South Carolina in the SouthEast United States. SC is South Carolina. It is the third state from the bottom on the East Coast. The bottom state is Florida, the next one up the coast is Georgia, then the next one up the coast is South Carolina = SC Bebop

Thanks again for your welcome back. I am catching up on the forum posts slowly with dial up. Cable this week!! I see no talk of another East Coast Jam. Maybe there are some central east coast members(GA,SC,NC,TN,VA) that would like to head up another Jam. I will certainly assist as the last one was a lot of fun and brings our forum family closer than ever. I would bet the attendance would be grater than the last.
KN7,
Welcome to our family.
I am nothing special on the forum, just a participating member. I wish I had the expertise/knowledge of technics player (Alec) and Willum (Bill). If there is a technical question about the KN7, one or both will have the answer.
I endorse Len's suggestion of acquiring Fred's KN7 Tool. A great time saver.
