KORG PA Songbook vs Yamaha Genos?...I am familiar with the KORg but never laid hands on a Genos yet.
For you players that have Both (Steve M?)etc,.. or tried both what are the Pros & Cons of each songbook setup for live performance.
The big advantage of the Genos is that you have your performance memmories on top of the songbook... together they make a perfect team..
This is mainly because the philosophy for live use between the instruments is different, Yamaha's philosophy is to have everything preprepared and accessible trough the performance memories
Where korg's philosophy is to offer yoyu as many tools for changing your performance real time and live... thats why there is just a single songbook entry/song on the pa4x, and no performance memmories but just a lot of buttons
What i do like on the pa4x is the set list... which works very well for live use, as it allows you to make a selection out of your songbook for easy access, i dont even know if the genos has such a feature
