Does anyone have the notes for this song? I've been hearing it for the last few years on telephone "hold music." Finally.....I discovered the name of it.

Wikipedia explanation of Ballade pour Adeline

This is a gorgeous song on a level with Nicholas and Alexandra (sung by Englebert Humperdinck as Too Beautiful To Last).

PIANO VERSION....

What a beautiful song.
Cannot remember I've heard it before.
Tnx for sharing guys.

Edit/Added:

Don't know why, but for some reason or another this melody seems like it got itself stuck into my mind.
Found another nice version with lyrics as well:

Hi Giovanni..that's a "yes." I'll take your copy also if you don't mind. I'm noticing that a lot of classical numbers are written differently.

Honky Tonk Train Blues....man, I forgot all about that. I guess that's a great example of "paying it forward." There must be something to that. But I know you would have sent it anyway. Looking forward and thanks in advance.

Your friend....Mark

One more of what I consider to be a natural Classic for the piano. Look at the incredible chord progression on this. I could have never dreamed this up in a million years. Also....interesting.....the left hand is in triplets while the right hand plays 4/4 time.

Pick your poison!

Mark, you have a passion for sensual music, this says a lot about you. I to love this kind of music, it reaches deep within.

The drummer in my band called this type of music;
“Music to jump off the roof by”. (Smile)

Brings back memories, this was one of the pieces I learned close to 50 years ago, it was a favorite of mine. I still have the piano solo score at home but I’m sure today it would take quite a few hours to sound even half way decent playing it.
