Is the Current Arranger Kb Hype wave now over ? it's mid 2018....
seems like less and less talk about whats already on the market for arranger kbs....so now what are you looking for in the near future feature wise, new model maybe? Yamaha Genos2, KORG Pa5x, Ketron SD10, Roland G80, Pa1100, S980, 88 Key arranger, Totl Casio,
more arranger modules, or maybe something totally new?
Whats on your wish list? or are you done and happy with what you have?..
Will the leaks and rumors start soon before Winter NAMM 2019?

I'm supper happy with my korg pa1000. It beats everything I ever had "for my needs". I should be good for a few years at least.

Seems like a silly question, Donny when you look at the number of topics that are posted on this and other forums on a daily basis. I posted something about styles yesterday evening and it's no longer on the first page this morning. Still lots of interest and activity on this and other forums of the same ilk.

Never been a 'gotta-have-the-latest' type myself. Three boards over the course of 17 years, two of them were second hand when I got them. It seems that most new models aren't much of an advance on its predecessor, so I figure it's better to buy a 'one model back' keyboard. Chances are that all the bugs have been ironed out, you don't pay as much, and there's plenty of advice and videos on the forums.

I don't see any arranger modules, or high end arrangers comming out this year anymore
Maybe a low end PA400

I expect a CVP 809 series tough this autumn...
But you never know for sure

For all the other keyboard news, i guess we need to wait till Winter NAMM

Biggest news of the month?
The release of Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2.5 free upgrade...
Its huge, over more then 1000 new analogue synth sounds..

Which is probably the biggest keyboard news we have got all year

You're worse than me (with the redhead obsession) when it comes to Genos. For crying out loud ... just get one, or stop barking about it so much. Is Yamaha paying you as a secret shopper?

Yeah, hope I'll be able to play it from my hospice bed smile. At our age, we want 5 years to be as SLOW as possible.

Noted, but it will have nothing to do with Yamaha.

Gary, I could be wrong, but I thought most new models come out in Winter Namm , so that would mean 2019 at least. So, a red version of a PA5x would be at least that long before they could even start to show their hand. Roland putting out a G80??? Now that would be a sight to see and an upset, but would it be on the same platform - weight form and size as the old G70?
