Between Yamaha and Ketron, I've spent endless nights creating/modifying close to two hundred thousand styles for free for all. (I very much doubt that this is matched anywhere else on the globe) Not these ones though. It is not as simple as merely running a style through a converter with the end result popping out on the other side. I spent a lot of time creating these. The reason I'm pointing at it, is just because in another thread here at SZ, you encourage a user to upload all what he has. Although it's not brand new stuff, there are quite a lot commercial files from the German company Hage in that post. For example, if you process and finetune any of these files and then sell it, regardless of brand, should the originator been asked and also get their part of the income? Copyright comes in my mind. Such issues may in worst case be a big problem worth being aware of. Not lately, but Yamaha and others has been at several fora and warned strongly about it. I'm not any angel myself, I've shared and swapped during the years, and sometime still does, but not in public unless help one or other with a special file or two now and then... Cannot think for a moment where I caused you any harm justifying any retaliation, but if you get a kick out of it, please be my guest and continue. I have become accustomed to many things in this life... I am not in the habit of sharing copy righted styles with others. Please show me where I do. I have many hundreds of thousands of styles in my possession collected from all over the internet - I doubt anyone has more styles than me. If a style is out there, chances are I have it. I do not need copy righted material to work from. Ones or twice, as a direct result of my unselfishness, some have shared styles with me asking me to never re-distribute. I have not let a single one of those request down to this date, neither did I ever modify any of their styles for distribution. I NEVER played for pay in ALL of my life, so I did not even take unfair advantage of these gifts other than to listen to them occasionally for inspiration. I have been a longtime and faithful and most of all an EXTREMELY unselfish contributing member over here. If that irritates you (and others I presume) now as a acting moderator, please inform me accordingly and I'll leave without even so much as putting up a fight. I have ZERO time/tolerance for entertaining such childish nonsense. Jeeze!!! You AMAZE me... Coming all the way over here to pick an completely unjustified fight with me whilst I did not bother you in the least! By the way, thank you for disrupting this peaceful thread that was meant to contain no more than style demos only. It was just written as a friendly compare to what it most be for others who produce styles and have it as a income and that we should not encourage to post copyrighted stuff. I guess I should not said anything, but some of us remember well the time when several companies was more active to avoid public uploads. They even said they would put lawyers at us, also here at SZ if my memory still work reasonable well. Anyway, Nigel may delete if he find that as a good or best solution, my post was not ment to attac or harm you at all. My humble apologises if I did upset you. I have not even started to recover the cost of the software that I use. However, I love tampering with styles and this does not stop me from producing more. And I love showcasing these creations to others. I will no longer hand these out for free though. Suffice enough that I make good use of these as I only create styles as and when I personally have a need for the specific type. The majority of our music make use of these new styles. So rest assured there is no danger of any infringements of any sorts. Neither do I pose any serious threat to Ketron, AJAMSONIC or the likes... _________________________ Make sure you'll fly forever!

I think most of us do Henni, but I have to admit I was much more active to tweak and create styles in the past than nowadays. I guess I've got more lazy, besides there is so much great stuff already stored during many years and at the new keyboards. I've been exploring Genos for almost a year now, and still have lots to figure out. Used audio drums and guitars. 2. Used standard Audya Grooves. 3. Used standard Audya midi loops in styles. 4. Revoiced some midi style loops.
