Hi all,

Except for the normal Cayenne Pepper and Apple Cider Vinegar which has little to no effect, does anyone know of a cure for Acute Angina?

Cheers,

Henni

A visit to a physician so you don’t die of a heart related problem?

Yup get to see a doctor as everyone has suggested. I have 2 friends who had symptoms and drove themselves to the ER both were kept and had immediate surgery to remove blockages. In both cases they were told it was a miracle they didn’t die before they arrived. Both are doing very well today.

After seeing your Physician... keep a supply of those Nitro-Glycerin tablets in your pocket and on your night-stand.

Take care of yourself... we need all the members we can retain... especially those who've been around for such a long time.

As everyone has said, "Get To The Doctor, NOW". I survived my heart attack in 1996. I was lucky. I was taken to the doctor by an ambulance. Believe me, it is much cheaper to take yourself. Sending prayers to you.

Tx everyone.

This escalated over time, but it has now reached a stage where it effects me seriously. I'm sure I've had more than one heart attack at home already and I am still around - this world will not get rid of me that easily. I find that for now some days I have to swallow as many as 20 Nitro-Glycerin tablets in a 24 hour period just to be able to do things. Funny thing is, it changes from day to day.

Was hoping for some potent home remedy that actually works. I'll follow your advice though, but not right now as it would be completely inconvenient for our current situation.

I appreciate all your feedback.

Henni

It's inconvenient to attend your own funeral too. Don't be an idiot; go the doctor. Nitro isn't a cure, just a band aid.

My brother-in-law had been experiencing angina pains for a while, but they were getting more frequent. He finally had it checked out and three arteries were clogged at different percentages. He was told he was on borrowed time, and had a Roto Rooter job or something. Today, he is feeling great.

You have received good advice from many friends. Now, if you are still sitting on your ass thinking this will all pass, the odds of this happening are not favorable. Acute angina is merely a symptom - not something you can cure with silly things such as pepper, etc. Something is causing your chest pain, and it is curable with medical intervention. The ball is in your court!

Not necessarily. I suggest you go to the nearest emergency medical facility IMMEDIATELY! This was the field of medicine I specialized in for many years. You are playing Russian Roulette with a fully loaded gun. This is a very, very serious symptom and not just a routine doctor visit.

The next minute is not guaranteed to anyone ! ...
Think of the "inconvenience" you might cause if you die before Dec 12 ...

Henni, the symptoms you describe are actually very serious and you should follow the good advice you have received from all your friends here at SZ.
Waiting until December 12 is to take a big risk.
Everyone wishes you all well and I'm sure your wife and family do not want to lose you.
Please, take care of yourself, consult your doctor as soon as possible and get well!

Best wishes.

Henni, I am very sorry to hear about the challenges you and your wife are facing. I hope you realize that no one here was judging you, but just being concerned.
Please know that you and Monica are in our prayers. Take care of yourself, and NEVER give up.
God Bless.

Henni, sorry to hear about your circumstances. In the interim, purchase some full strength, coated aspirin, Ecotrin would be the best as it dissolves in the small intestine and has the least side effects. Take three of them daily until you see the doctor on December 12th. This will help prevent a tiny clot from forming and causing severe heart muscle damage, and can also prevent a stroke from taking place.

Good luck,

Gary cool

Leave it alone and DEATH is the cure.
You are the only one who can do anything, so live and seek help.
I have 5 stents in my heart, they were put in 10 years ago. I have issues again, and just had another angiogram due to my heart being 50% blocked where the stents are. But then the cardio guy did a flow test and that blockage went to 90%. Now I am getting ready to have a bypass.

I wear Nitro-Dur patches and use Nitrolingual Spray when things get bad ( and they do). Also, I am on blood thinners and Asprin and Fish Oil ( thins the blood).

But I am getting help - so should you, or your family will have one less in it.

No, Scott... I'm not in Henni's normal communications link... but his work on Styles and Multi-Pads is almost legendary. So many of us owe him a debt of thanks. I hope all is well. Angina is not something to fool around with. Thanks for bringing this up again.

Prayers for you, friend Henni! ----Dave

I'm bumping this thread because it's been some time since we've seen Henni around here.
I really hope he got the health issues sorted out and that he and his family is OK and doing well.
Have not seen any new post by him at PSR either.....

We are okay. I really appreciate all your concerns. We've had many seasons in our lives, but this one is altogether different and requires all of our attention. We'll get through it like everything before it.

Kind regards,
