Each night, when I finally go to bed, a song begins to emerge from the cobwebs of my aging mind. This particular one has been playing every night for at least three weeks. The only way I know to get these songs out of my psyche is to sit down and record it using the onboard recorder of my trusty PSR-S950. I won't know if this will get it out of my mind until I go to bed tonight.

I used the Folk Pop style, which can be found in the Country category, A and C variations, tempo of 95, second intro and second ending. My vocals are not what they used to be because of my deteriorating lung condition, so I figured I better do this song while I still have enough air to sing.

Here's my rendition of Elusive Butterfly.

I had about forgotten about this one. The Yammy sounds really good on it, and your vocals seem fine. Nice one!

Bravo, Gary:

The style worked well for "Butterfly" and I really enjoyed your rendition. Wish I had the income stream flowing my way from the royalties that song produced... and still produces.

Thanks for sharing! ----Dave Rice

Thanks for those kind words, everyone. Rikki, one of the things I always take into consideration when posting a song is to be sure to post information on how that song was created. I sincerely believe that the information, style, tempo, variations, intro, ending, make and model of keyboard, etc..., are helpful ingredients for others who wish to perform this song as well. I also encourage others to post their renditions of the same songs, which would benefit others in creating their renditions.

Thanks again, everyone,

Gary cool

Can't remember that I've heard this song before, so a quick search at Google gave the info it's a real 'oldie' from middle of the 60'es.
Tnx for sharing Gary, sounds as a clear and well balanced recording too. Keep on singing. singer

GJ ... One of the interesting things I found was that it was originally the 'B' side of the recording by Bob Lind who wrote and performed the song ... He never expected this to be a hit song ...

Gunnar and Tony, thanks for listening and commenting, guys. Tony, All but the index finger are working again, though I can use the index finger, I still cannot feel anything with it. It's totally numb.

Thanks again, everyone,

Gary cool
