Yea this could be traumatic for children with mommy kissing Santa Claus. Amazing how we survived as kids. I went thru 12 grades of Catholic schools and the way the nuns whacked us around it’s no wonder I can even get out of my own way. High School with the Christian Bros. Wasn’t exactly kid gloves either like the time one of the brothers grabbed by the collar pushed me up against a locker as said “What did I tell you about that long hair in your face.” I guess that’s child abuse today but I did learn respect. Not sure why I got on this rant but it’s all the way it struck me about mommy and Santa Claus.
