A few days ago I got a new music store mag in the mail. After I looked through it, it hit me.
I DON'T NEED ANYTHING IN HERE. What a great feeling.

Donny, I can't imagine you without a keyboard in your house ... dancers ... It would be like a car without tires - it ain't goin' nowhere!!!
Forget about the latest and greatest, or the 'panacea' - the be all and end all' - and just get yourself a keyboard to PLAY WITH !!! ... try crazy stuff like playing rock tunes as a bossa or a bossa as a polka ... just screw around and have FUN !!! ...
Then, when the next lightening bolt strikes, go out and get what you think you need and just have fun with that ...
You may never find what KB makes you truly happy, but it could be a lot of fun searching for it ...

How about a Yamaha MODX or Roland FA series for something different?

Nice one Donny and Fran; love the moods you create.

I think these software arrangers have their place and have great potential for many places i.e. backing tracks and mood music in between sets etc. BIAB still can't replace live playing or changes on the fly. But still are great for the creative juices, and not to mention playing / practising with as you backup band, as you " fiddle" on you keyboard, whatever type you choose.
