Hi folks,
Just found a great site for styles to convert they even have the sheet music in pdf. format.
The site is for Roland and Korg but the Roland styles with music are of the highest quality even if the Glen Miller titles take a little license with the melody intro's. some of the files show 2 styles for the same song ,take your pick, and enjoy!!
www.home.planet.nl/~aeduin/home.htm
sorry the address should now work!!!

Hi Derek, Yes the idea is to convert to the KN7000, when you had your keyboard there should have been 2 discs with it , one of which is style convert. The style on the web site are in Zip format, so unzip and you end up with a Certificate file, copy to flopy disc take the technics convert disc, place it in the KN and press style convert,on new screen select Roland press OK, after a few seconds the display will aks for the style disc (the one you coppied onto flopy) insert and sellect the style required. The best thing to do is use Memory "A" and exit at the continue prompt as this ensures you get the preset tempo for that style, save to disc or as I do SD any problems let me know as I now have converted or in the process of convertion approx 30Mb of styles from arround the world and those are only roland Best of luck John.

You can also download styles from Roland, Solton, Korg, etc. at Gunnar Jonny's website at http://www.bigfoot.com/~gunjongo and they're already converted for the KN5000 which you will have no problem with.

Hi John,
I tried those Roland styles, but I was not very impressed with them , not a patch on the Technics styles.
