I am spending more time enjoying the Genos and the modx8 and less time on the forums.

For out of the box playing, nothing beats Yamaha...
For brand specific user community, nothing beats Yamaha...
For ease of use, nothing beats Yamaha...
For musicaly creativity, nothing beats Yamaha...

There is onlyonewish left, the same old same wish...
Can i have these both instruments in a single package?

I know, that sounds way over the top..
And probably arrogant..
But i am loving it..

Where it comes to arranger features for home users, Genos can’t be beat..
Where it comes to hardware synths with daw integration, modx and montage can’t be beat..

Instead of 60 to 120 minutes a day, i now spend over 3 hours daily behind the keys..

Now if i had to choose one of these, i seriously don’t know which one...

I have enjoyed korg pa4x and kronos for over 2 years..
Now i am riding the Yamaha train and loving it even more...
But in the end, you can’t go wrong with any of todays professional keyboards...

This probably means no SD90 ... for now to enhance your styles/arranger.

Just waiting for my MODX6 to come smile
This will be my first Yamaha synth !
Maybe I can offer the vArranger for the MODX users
Will see what can be done with it...

I have so much keyboards at home that I thought I can't buy one more

However, it seems to be a mini montage that includes all the sounds from motifs etc series... in a very lightweight and compact package.
It also includes an audio card, so with vArranger, I will have an arranger + VST instruments + modx sounds, all goiging out the same stereo audio out, with just one USB cable to plug

Will let you know.....

Since on Modx you can only assign 8 voices to the keyboards..
The other 8 voices are perfect for assigning to v-arranger..
(Altough yamaha stpped away from calling them voices)

Altough compared to montage, only the voice 9,10,11 and 12 have dsp.. the voices 13 to 16 dont..

Modx makes an extremely light packages combined with an ipad or a surface pro...
And on my modx 8 there is enough room to place a korg nanopad for direct controlling of varranger...

Sadly not..
I was actually in the shop to order one..
But decided not to, for the simple reason that there seems to be now way to edit the voices in a style and save them... this is a major part of my workflow.. sound edditing tweaking and creation is one of the things i like to do

Yes, I wouldn't trade my 4X even for a Genos, even though I have carefully considered getting one a time or two. I came to my senses. That's why there are different makes of arrangers.
