Most of the old codgers on the forum will recall when Scott Yee reported problems with phase cancellation using a pair of Bose L1 PAS systems. If I recall, he eventually corrected the problem by changing his spacing and making some other adjustments.

All the best,

Gary cool

I like how sturdy the extension tubes are in the Bose, since people seem to always want to steady themselves on it, when they approach. None of the others, including the Maui's seem as solid.
Point: Bose

Gary came up with a great solution to that. Get some bright "Danger High Voltage " stickers for the columns.
There was another sticker I may try to fine.
"Danger, if you touch this it will really hurt and then you die !""
That will make them think twice.

... another good one is when a client comes up close, looks at the stick and asks "Do you get HBO with this contraption?"

I tried that Donny, only mine had plastic chains. They just walked around it! And, that a lot more gear to lug around. The sign worked very well, and you would be amazed at the number of people who walked up, raised their hand to lean on the Bose column, then saw the sign and quickly pulled their hand away. Of course, there were a few that didn't notice the sign - IDIOTS!
