JM, It usually takes a couple weeks before the swelling from the surgery goes down and the pain subsides. I've been though this twice, and I have several good friends that have also undergone the procedure and they all say the same thing. Give it some time to heal. Good luck, Gary

JM, in every crisis or main event in our lives we learn something. It may be in your thinking, how you do things, or how you now see your body.
The post that you have written show the other side of you, nice. Endure you must, but keep your mind on how your priorities are changing, and mostly for the better. For the most part your life is going to improve.
In my 8 years I have lived through a list of rough times, my wife likes me better now. (smile)
Be well my friend, there's a lot ahead, John C.
