Still doing small gigs 2-3 a month. I've been using my TC Helicon Sing Thing for a while along with a tablet for backing tracks, super compact the whole rig weighs in at 6kg including a stand for the tablet. For larger gigs I use the Sing Thing along with a pair of Maui5's.
This is my favorite rig
I just acquired a PA900 to try using the onboard speakers for my small gigs. I'm just in the midst of sorting the songbook, should be ready in a week to ten days then we'll see. It's been a while since I used a keyboard and sang, fingers crossed. I might try knocking up a couple of videos with the PA900, we'll see.
Col..... thanx for the reply. Love it that your always experimenting and trying new things. Good luck to you and your music. Look forward to those videos also.
Mel although that's a real nice setup it's but also alot to haul for just a 1 hr NH gig imo.... with all the cabinet angles the Bose S1 offers why not eliminate carrying the stands and just floor the speakers angled up? Do you sing also, I don't see a Mic or boom?.. PS: & that "single braced" Xstand scares the crap out of me ....sorry.

I SING AND USE A SHURE WH20 MIC PLUGGED INTO KEYBOARD IT'S HANGING ON THE I PAD IN THE PIC AND AS FOR THE STANDS NO THEY ARE NOT NEEDED HERE IF YOU NOTICED I AM SURRONDED BY GLASS AND WALLS LIKE A CAVE SO THEY HELP TO GET THE SOUND OUTFRONT WITHOUT ALL THE ECHO THAT YOU CAN GET IN A CAVE LIKE THIS. THE STAND HAS A DEADBOLT LOCK BUILT IN SO NO WORRYS THERE. BY THE WAY THE STANDS ARE THE MINI SIZE AND THEY BOTH FIT IN THE BOSE COMPACT EXTENTSION BAG AND THEY ARE VERY LIGHT. MEL P.S. SORRY THE CAP LOCK WAS ON.

patience, Donny, patience ... My current rig - KORG Pa900, Senn mic plugged into on-board VH, Pro12 Tablet, connected by midi to onboard 'Songbook', giving me immediate charts when needed and KB set-up. Mic and tablet holder mounted into the 'tubes' of the quik-lok x stand. Works for me
PS If I come across some of my older set-ups I will post them ...
Hi Tony
Are you using a tablet holder from quik lok or another brand? I'd be curious to see other pics with different angles of your tablet holder set up if you get the chance.
