Col, How do you like it? I made that same switch last year, and it never quite satisfied me. I wanted to love it, but just couldn't wrap my head around it.

Morning Guy's
Thanks for your good wishes.
Dave, Too soon to say only had the board a day but up to now quite impressed, the guitars and pianos seem a lot better, quite like the changed operating system and the songbook. Haven't tried the VH yet I'm hoping I will be able to use the keyboard at small gigs without any extra amplification. I like simple set-ups. I'm currently using a Shure WH20 with the keyboard so it will be keyboard, stand, mic and me. No clutter.

With the wh20 you will need the inline xlr to 1/4" transformer and I use a 90 degree adapter so it don't stick out so far from the keyboard. You will also need a short xlr to xlt extention cord because the mic has a very short cord. This is my setup too. any questions just ask and I will try to help. MEL

Hi Mel
Thanks' for the offer of help, I used the WH20 with my PA900 so I already have the XLR to 6.3mm jack lead (1.5m). On the PA900 I also had to tweak the compressor setting to make up for the low output of the WH20.
I also run the cables through the tube on keyboard stand to keep things tidy. I have this thing about cables, I was a telecoms engineer in an earlier life.
Col although not a big fan of "single X models" (the IQ2000 is my prefered Xstand) http://www.ultimatesupport.com/iq-2000.html at least there is a "cross brace" on the this single Xstand shown.. should be fine,..good luck using it. Glad to see you back on Keys again.

Hi Donny
The stand has been with me for many keyboards large and small and, fingers crossed, has given me no problems to date.
I didn't have the PA900 very long but I loaded the songbook with approx. 150 songs. I found to my relief that apart from having to relocate the styles all the rest of the info transferred across using the Songbook Editor V3.0 (Thankyou Korg)
