Hello everyone!
Tonight on the gig my audya(5.4C) sudenly freezed.At first no bass on the rhytam and then no sound at all. After rebott few times the same thing. Now is init phrase error. I opened it check all conections everything seems ok. The problem is the same.If reboot is ok then is playing rytham few seconds to half minute max the the bass goes away and after a few moments everything else. Or when I start it show init phrase erorr. Any help please? I have a gig on sunday and I'm desperate now..

I did a hardvare test and all Rom(ketron01-11) have erorr.It's the sound module gone or?
Did someone had the similar problem???

Ok now it's worse. Amy start up init phrase erorr and at hardware test DSP0(9708) BOOSTRAP Erorr. Any help please!!!!

It sounds like your hard drive is fried I am afraid. Have you tried connecting the Audya to your computer to check on the file structure?

Hi,I just have the answer from France and the problem was
a connector strap Inside the keyboard that was loose
I dont know if you carry your keyboard outside your home

I'm doing cca 150 gig's per year so the keybord is on the road.
Unfortunatelly I opened it and check all conections.Everything is ok. Or it's maybe a conector of HDD faulty. Tomorrow I go to a gay that can maybe fix it.
Surely I will post what was wrong if he repare it.

Today I had replace the hard disc but without success. The problem is still there.After half minute the bass line of the pattern disapear and 10 sec later no sound at all.Maybe is the soundboard. Where to find one quikly!!!!

What kind of hard disk did you change?
Did you copy and paste the old HD to the new one?
I thing you should send to a Ketron tech
You should contact AJ the real specialist
When you connect the audya to the PC or laptop ,do you see all
the files including the System folders?

I live in Croatia-Istria.
A guy that replaced the HDD done this many times so I presume that he know what he did.

So Country man if the exit button shines the solution is to change the velocity curve?

NO! It's a little bit tricky. First, Audya have to start without INIT or another error on display! So your HDD must be OK. When you hear sound by pressing any key after full start (audio resources are OK), starting style work too ...

... and when after some period (~ 1 minute) Audya stops generating sound and "freeze" - It seems to be the problem with USB chip on board (probably damaged with electrostatics).

Internally Audya "think" are connected via USB to computer and stops working.

Solution is put in pins 1 and 4 100Ohm resistor (USB connector on back side). More on this diagram:





You can make this special cable (from old USB printer cable by cutting USB PC connector) or buying USB male conector https://www.taydaelectronics.com/usb-type-b-female-connector-5790.html and put 100Ohm resistor on it.

Otherwise USB connection with PC work normally (standart printer USB cable) so don't worry about function.

With this small modified connector Audya work (playing) without sound interuption and NO FREEZE!

Hope will help you too ... (Another solution I thing is only new Audyas motherboard)

Unfortunatelly that is not the problem. After checking the Hdd(everything Ok with it) now on the startup said init Phase error and that's it. On the F1 test DSPO scribe BOOSTRAP Error all others ok. No sound at all.

So I send the keybord to Ketron. It's not the hard disk. I will let you know so that someone will have this problem know what to do.

the problem was 1 Ram inside the soundbord.They change it and now I wait they send it back to me.
