I did read Dave’s final review and that he’s movin’ on to the PA700. My response to Fran was definitely tongue-in-cheek

I have one wish here on SZ.. Listen to DNJ's post here... no not that one ...the G70 demo.

Run this demo video through what ever sound system you use on stage..listen to detail and see why I still believe the G70 is the best.. better than my E-A7, and previous BK9... In fact nothing I have played surpasses the sounds in the G70..

Granted Daniel is probably one of the best players on the net... but he does not showboat, instead he plays realistic parts, and he brings out the detail of the G70 tones..

Listen to it with an open mind, and thru your best system (not your I phone ). And remember we are still talking about a 2005 release and a much needed version 2 update a year later..

Fran, with all due respect, we ALL acknowledge that music, in all it's forms, configurations, styles, iterations, etc., is 100% SUBJECTIVE. You could search the entire world and you'd never get a consensus of any single component of music being 'the best'. So why then are we so hell-bent on constantly trying to convince others that OUR PERSONAL PREFERENCE is the 'gold standard' that THEY need to adopt? I say, expose them to it (if you must) but leave the proselytizing at home. JMO. Oh, and while we're at it, I get so sick of people endlessly posting these videos of gear that nobody on THIS board gives a crap about. I figure if you're smart enought to participate in a computer-based forum, you're smart enough to look up the things you want to see. Who needs a pre-screener to decide and select what you should be viewing. If anyone hasn't been able to find the 'search' box in YouTube, I'll be happy to point it out to them. Google isn't bad either. Again, JMO.
