If this for real, this is gonna be 'da bomb' for Yamaha. You have wonder just how many PSR-xxx owners out there would leap for this - a good many I'd suspect. If Yamaha prices it right.

I'd say if it was anything related to Genos
it would say the word Genos in the title in some way and would be in the high end $3500-$4000 range 61 keys...
but this judging by the picture is more like a thick sized
updated S975 with a few extra features,
still No Tilt display shown, in the $1999-$2500 range.
I wouldn't expect anything earth shattering at this point.
But we will see as always as leaks persist & hysteria heightens further down the road.
Maybe a surprise Summer NAMM release also. wink

What Donny said. PSR-s replacement with styling and form factor like an enlarged s670.

Yamaha is the most conservative of the major players about introducing new features. If they were going to do so, they could do it on their MOTL product, rather than take a chance on alienating their "cash cow" audience for their TOTL product with its huge markup.

If the new feature is buggy or doesn't catch on, perhaps the MOTL customer is more forgiving and it avoids the worst hit to their reputation.

Just speculating, I'm NOT an insider. We'll see...

Wow, great news smile
Prices here in Israel have dropped to 4600$US from 6000$US for Genos (obviously not related to this), so hopefully a smaller Genos will be priced fairly when it arrives.
