That is fantastic, despite Gary's help. Can't wait to hear you on the new gear, but it can't get much better. I got a lot of mileage out of the 2100 and the 2000 before that.

It sounds like you filter out most arranger parts.. making it sound like left hand bass. If in deed you are playing left hand bass. I didn't hear any flaws.. What makes me think it was left hand bass, you ended the song on a seventh bass note..
didn`t know the song but when you like something you don`t know it`s all the better.
Surprised you don't know this tune. It's a jazz standard covered by everyone from Billie Holiday to Diana Krall. My personal favorite covers are by Joe Williams with the Count Basie Band and Ruth Brown, one of my favorite old-school R&B singers from the 60's. I won't post a link because I HATE it when someone posts a link to a professional/commercial version of a tune a member has just posted. That is SO discourteous (IMO). Again, nice job Jill; a very good feel for the tune.
