Friday night, and man and wife sat at the table immediately in front of me, in the prime spot for hearing everything in stereo, maybe 15 feet from the two Maui 5's. I noticed the guy was paying very close attention. After they finished eating he approached the bandstand and gave me a card. It said "Blind Uncle Willie, Live Music". I hadn't realized he was blind until then, although I had guessed he was a musician. He asked me what guitars I was playing and I told him that the guitar sounds were all from the keyboard. Then he said that his wife told him she couldn't see a guitar but he hadn't believed her. He was amazed that the guitar sounds were coming from the keyboard! That may be one of the best compliments I've ever had.
That's great Don. Just confirms what we've always said. The closest I've come to something like that is when a blind guy said he couldn't believe it was supposed to be music .
