Hi - thanks for the comments, ideas, and files! I'll try to do this using style(s) first, and I do plan to play (some of) the horn parts, enough to give it the right feel for this song. There's no way I (or likely any one person) could play live all the parts that make up this song ... but perhaps enough, with a good style with good variations, to play it (and have my singer sing it) and have it sound "Decent" but not a "just-like-the-record" version, for a small group... nothing can quite do what Chicago and their horn section can do, though! :-)
