Hiya everybody and a happy new year.
Can anybody help - I've been messing around with my custom style files (.cst) and have lost the Dorsey band rhythm - can anyone forward either as a .cst or a .cmp.
Many thanks

Hi Roger
I looked through my reprise list, and can't find it. Can you tell me where to look.

Roger,
I still have the sd card you gave me at our West Coast Jam last May. It is still intact. IS this file on the card, IF so I could send it to you.
Happy New Year,
Bebop

Hiya Bernie, Fran and Bill
It is a custom style from one of those sets of custom styles that are available as .cst or .ast files and it is called Dorsey Band - it might be on that SD Card Bill; the trouble with Custom Styles is that they dissappear if you load a new set which displaces the previous encumbent...grrrr

Hiya again Bill
It won't be on that SD card because custom styles are part of 'resident memory' in the keyboard - says he having just discovered it for himself....

Hi Roger - Have you got anything recorded using this Dorsey style, if so you will be able to retrieve it from that. If not was it a Custom Style File that you amalgamated or got from somewhere else, may be able to help you that way with more information.

You will have to make at least one New Year resolution. I must Backup my data/SD whatever!!! Joan

Watcha Joan
More a case of
a) don't let other folk fiddle with your keyboard...or
b) don't leave a rhythm you use regularly in custom style but transfer it to composer memory where it's safe providing you save it to SD Card and back up the Sd Card...
Best wishes and thanks for your help - problem now solved!!!

Marjorie,
Using the software that came with your instrument, or better yet the KN 7 Explorer Tool developed by Fred, copy your SD to a file on your computer hard drive. Then, using restore, send it to another blank formated SD.
