I posted this as a reference if it helps.... All I can say as I am not a piano player nor expert in listening to the suitableness & nuances of each,....but I am glad you shared you music with us here and good luck to you.
In Russian we often call the piano as "Fortepiano". Obviously, "forte" means "loudly" and "piano" means "quietly". To me the common problem with digital keyboards is that some of them do not really let you enjoy the both ways of playing - "forte" and "piano". Yet, I've been more or less satisfied with Yamaha's algorithm, which they call as "dynamic filter". Also, we know about multisamples, which also helps.
I'm not sure if I can judge by the demo, but I have an impression that so far this Steinway tends to be more "forte" than "piano".
Today I've recorded a piece on my PSR-S950, the factory piano is used (a brighter one) with a dark layer behind it:
But, frankly, I'm a bit bored with this factory sound, so I understand that what you're doing can be quite a big deal.
Ive been learning how to import soundfonts into my Pa700. Still at an early stage as I learn new stuff the sounds will evolve. And yes its good to have new sounds in your palette. Ive already got some variations on the above sound.
Kabinopus, a beautiful tune and very nicely played. To be honest, I'd love to hear you do it on an acoustic Grand. That's not to say that the 950 sounds bad, it's just that it's the type of tune that would really benefit (tone and dynamics) from being played on an acoustic. BTW, please give us more of your lovely work. I really enjoyed it.

Kabinopus, Very nice! Kudos to you for playing it so well on an S950, I'm betting you would sound even better on an acoustic piano.
Musical Memories I applaud your work with the PA700 piano but as a guy whose training was on piano and who worked for the Steinway dealer for a number of years it's difficult to reproduce what a pianist feels and hears at a real Steinway. Nevertheless for using an arranger on a gig the piano does the job very well. Nice work!
I've been working on some new sounds for the Korg Pa700 this a Steinway Grand Piano sound using Soundfonts. Would be greatful for some feedback.
Congratulations, this piano sample has the character, it sounds raw and wooden and has what I miss in those bright, streamlined Yamaha piano sounds. You can hear the natural resonance body of the piano, and the tiny differences from key to key, or even flaws, the original piano had from which it‘s sampled. - Just what others remarked, during your playing it stayed in the forte layer, a soft layer was missing a bit. How many velocity layers does this waveform have? But I like the general sound very much.
