I am working on this song.. I can't get it out of my head.

I listened to George Strait, Dean Martin and Willie Nelson.. I think I combined all three smile

I may add a sax on the break like Dean's version. Maybe harmony like Willie's... not sure.

I might just leave it as is grin

I used the E-A7 to record the song, no other gear.

Nice job Fran. As you might imagine I do this song pretty often.
"I never loved you much when you were mine..." Great line!
I never heard any version but George Strait's and mine, and his is a lot better than mine. smile
I do like your a lot though. EA7 sounds really good.

Good job Fran, love that song. Written by Bill Mack the radio host. I remember Cal Smith's version but always liked Strait's.

Can you explain what you are referring to...?

All my material I do are the instruments of my keyboards.. I do not use MP3's or karaoke tracks to record with my vocals..

Does this help your understanding about recording? smile

Fran, this guy will be gone soon enough. Don't respond. I gave him a chance to do that on the other thread.

Hey Fran,

Nice rendition. Very good sounds and the drums sounded live and crisp. I thought maybe the drums were a bit hot in the mix though and vocals could come up. Just my thoughts.... Thanks for posting!

One of my favorite songs, Fran, and you did a great job with it. Nice country swing style used, really enjoyable listen.

Very nice, Fran! Thanks for sharing!

Have been quite busy with music for my church, but trying to work on a few songs so that I might record and share in the near future . . .

Always love listening to everyone that shares!!!

Play on!!!
