Steve great tune very well done all around..glad you didn't use the arranger for this one as you say. Lyrics and hook work very well. Could you share a bit of how you created and recorded it, instruments, gear, etc.. thank you for sharing.... I hope it becomes a mega hit worldwide! I did use my producer on this. I sent him my acoustic vocal/BGV version & he hired the session players in Nashville. These guys are great. I cut the lead VOX in Los Angeles in Deville Studios in Burbank. To cut costs I added my BGV's in my home studio. I am really picky & took out the original drums in the ifirst verse & the Bass so we could build the tune better. I drive my Producer crazy because I change my mind mid song on the direction of the tune sometimes, but in the end he is very pleased with the outcome. I end up spending more but I want the tune the way I want it...Yes, I am in agreement about hoping it's a Mega hit.... Steve - great job! Excellent playing, singing, and recording! Well balanced and the clarity is super! Great job and excellent song! Congrats and thanks for sharing your talent!
PS - it is obvious you took your time to get it perfect! Thanks....Yeah, I spent extra studio time & cost myself some money to get it right....

Brilliant job Steve, pleasant listening,we`ll keep our ears open for this one. Thanks Terry....Glad you enjoyed Nice song Steve...recording sounds good. JM Thanks JINGLEMAN....Also thanks for your help on my Jingle as a second set of ears... Steve ... This song should absolutely should be played 'on the air' right now ... Either by you or any number of top Country artists ... If I would change anything, I would eliminate some of the harmony, such as after "First Love, Last Love" let the next line be just your solo voice ...
Hey Tony....I appreciate the sentiment for it being on the air waves....That's great to hear. As for the BGV's, I ALSO had the BGV's on my original demo the way you described with the hole there for me to sing without the female VOX. At first I was gonna tell my Producer to eliminate her there, but her high harmony added to the track & felt leaving it in was a little better. I can't say who she is but she sang BGV's for Faith Hill for years & even did a duet with Toby Keith which did pretty well. So, I figured I should get all the mileage out of her I could. She did great on them BGV's
