Yea it feels good when your first sit down..I'm talking about 4 hrs being in the saddle that little bump in the crotch area will get to ya after a while, it's there so drummers don't slide forward when they play.......the throne Nigel recommended previously is perfect and comfy....... http://www.soundseat.com/

Many Options, Made in the USA, and nothing is better IMO
If you care about your back go for it.

I have played my KB sitting on the throne for more than 5 hours more than once with no problems wink keys

I used to use a roc-n-soc with backrest. Then sat in a mapex and the back rest sits right against my lower back much better. Keeping this one- it works after several back surgeries.

I have used the Ludwig Throne - round seat, back support - for years with no problems - 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours +, no problems ...
