Low and behold...Roland did not let me down... grin

I found a parameter that says "lower with intro" I turned it on... and problem solved... manual bass all the way clap

That small dual screen thing stops me, or I might own one already. The minute I buy one they'll come out with a larger single screen version. If they did, I think resale value of the dual will tank.

The double display screen is one of the things
I really liked about the EA7.....great navigational feature..

Agreed. It's a huge step backwards from where the competition is today. Also, the sounds on that EA-7 are not up to the standard of other high end Rolands of the past (and present). Fran likes the EA-7 because of size/weight, and and familiarity to the Roland universe. He'll be so much happier playing his G-70. They are both dinosaurs, and belong together
smile.

I must say that for some time I had a feeling that Roland isn’t trying at all, but last month in Moscow I discovered that they have their own section in a store. As you can see, they chose Juno DS as a main decoration. I saw there BK-3/5 arrangers but no E-A7. I guess, primarily all hopes are focused on $350–$780 keyboards and digital pianos.
