Just ordered my copy - waiting in GREAT anticipation for the activation code. Busy playing with the demo. AWESOME,AWESOME, AWESOME software. Cannot believe I only now looked into it.

NOTHING!!! and I mean NOTHING!!! beats Yamaha when it comes to style creating tools, both freeware & commercially. I am having the time of my life with all my new style modifying tools and soon it will show up even more in my new creations.

Had it for a couple of days now, though I haven’t had a great deal of time to spend on it. Keep an eye out on your Junk folder, my order ended up in there for some bizzare reason.

I was very pleased to have found it . Read about a while back, and had forgotten all about it till I came across some posts on the Yamaha forum a few days ago. Doesn’t do everything I was able to do in the Korg Pa4x in the way of style editing, but it will do nicely .

I'm already having a LOT of fun with the demo version. This software is truly AMAZING. I have modified more than two hundred thousand styles by now between the various brands - from converting from one brand to another to highly modified styles.

What can be achieved in StyleMagic by a single mouse click is hard to believe. It will have a TREMENDOUS impact on all my future creations.

Midisoft contacted me - my USB was not up to spec to be used as a dongle. I've just re-ordered using another USB stick - hopefully it will not take too long. I've allready achieved STUNNING results but I cannot save it with the demo version.

This package will be the absolute best software I've ever purchased apart from StyleWorks.

Received my dongle!!! I am having the time of my life. This software will WOW me for quite some time to come. Never found a better tool for working with styles.

The ability to copy complete style parts is a bonus. Couldn’t find a function to copy individual style tracks which would be handy, ie just say, copy bass from v1 to v2 , but it’s
possible I missed it?
I’ve had our son staying for a couple of weeks, so haven’t had much free time to do much.

Well. I've had it for some time now but can't get to load up. It worked for a couple weeks but no more. I emailed the company and they sent me some info to re download but no go and no further communication. Seems like it could be a most useful tool but at this point a waste of $69.00.

are you using the original USB stick you registered the program with? Guessing if there is something wrong with the USB stick, it won’t work.

Only had it for a couple of days and not much time to play around with it yet.

I am convinced the problem lies with your USB stick that is used as a dongle. Within the 1st year of purchase, they'll link the software to another USB stick upon request.

Thomas was very helpful. I suggest you keep on trying to contact them as this program is worth every bit of it's very low price. (listen to the sound quility of my latest uploaded style - not possible to achieve without this AMAZING software)

Just in case you're not sure - to safeguard their software, they've imbedded code into it to only run if a certain USB stick with a pre-recorded serial number is inserted in your PC. If it cannot find this serial number upon program start, it won't work.

Hi Henni, wasn’t aware of that. Handy to know. I was fortunate, I’d just bought a couple of new USB sticks a day or so beforehand, it’s always a bit of a worry that one might fail.

I specifically used the one that is ALWAYS in my Yamaha - that way I can keep good track of it's constant wereabousts as it remains mostly in it's slot at the back in my arranger, even during transportation.

I'm fairly certain the problem lies with the stick. Thomas sent me a reactivation code but still doesn't work. I think I may need to uninstall and start over. i will try and get back with Thomas again.

I got it working today. Now trying to make sense out of the help files. Did a search for tutorials and found 3 from Thomas that he provides english sub titles. i am working my way through them now.

Still haven’t had any time to spend on mine, trying to sort thru my styles and remove duplicates.

I have worked my way through the tutorials. Over all the program is fairly simple to use. The last tutorial "Creating a style from a midi" gets quite complicated but I think most of it will come in time as I use the simpler features.
