Wow, fabulous as usual Don. I preferred the E-A7 version, next is the SD7.

I agree with everyone. Overall sound, I would rate the SD7, EA7,PSR970, PA4x. Guitar (lead), EA7, SD7, PSR970, PA4x. Balance, EA7, PSR970, SD7, PA4x. Style, EA7, SD7, PA4x, PSR970. Don I suspect you got the answer you expected. My guess you were thinking about the SX900 (should be better than the PSR970) Ketron is a bit overpriced compared to some others. You already know the EA-7 you now have is the one.. and unsurpassed bang for the buck And maybe Dave could use an extra PA4x

I guess I'm the only one who thinks the Korg sounded best.

After a second listen, I stand by my first impression. Korg 1st, Yamaha 2nd, but only in the acc. The drum pattern is more accurate in those two, and that stands out to me. There are only a few songs that I'd rather not use generic patterns for, and because of the slow tempo, this is one of them. I believe that the hi hat pattern is crucial to selling this beat, and that was the basis for my choice. The general public will probably never care, because the song is so well loved, and if you sing it with feeling, it'll sell, but as one with an inside track on the details ... I need the bass and drums to be more complementary to the original feel.
