Hi Gang,

I have not posted in some time as some of you know I am moving from Florida to Aiken, South Carolina the end of this month.

I would like to introduce Tom Dove, from England. We go back to the Technics Organ (OBI)which Bob Hendershot and I belonged to. Tom now has a 7000.

Look for his post.

Fran, get in touch when you are settled in. I might just drop by and see you and Marge. I have a sister in Columbia, and you'll not be too far away from me after the move.

Hi Fran,

Here's best wishes for a smooth and successful move to your new location.

Florida's big loss will be S.C.'s gain.

Have fun,

Hi Fran - Good luck with your move.

Will this put you out of the Hurricane corridor - I know they were particularly horrific last year?

Regards to you and Marge - Joan

Fran and Marge my God bless your moving to Carolina. It is an adventure, a change, you must share it with us. Also you must let us know the visiting hours/days. Ha ha ha
Why are you moving?
Why did you choose Carolina? Interesting- share Fran.

Phyllis and I have another place to visit now, good.

May you have no problems in buying or selling, and may your trip be filled with excitement.

Stay healthy, John C.

Friends,

Serving in the military for 23 years, Marg and I are use to changing locations every few years. The 30 years after my retirement we have purchased 10 homes. I enjoy being a house doctor and the rewards at time of sale.

We are leaving Florida as real estate is booming and the price of homes more than doubled in the county I live in. South Carolina homes are one half or less to purchase. Financial gain is the main reason for leaving. Hurricanes we are sick of. Look forward to 4 seasons and meeting new friends is always a plus.

We will be leaving some wonderful friends in Florida. The nice thing about forum friends they go with you where ever you go in this world.

Fran in Florida (till the end of the month)

HI FRAN and MRS.
Good luck on your move. Hope everything goes just as you planned it. I like South Carolina and I like North Carolina even better. Maybe one of these days we will get out of this rat race called California.
Hope you arn't trading hurricanes for Tornados. What city are you moving to? Coast or inland?
Best to you and yours

Hi Fran, Congratulations and best to you on your recent move to Aiken, home of the University of South Carolina, Aiken. Might you be enrolling in their music program? Did you know that all 4 members of "Hootie & the Blowfish" attended there?

PS: I really enjoyed meeting you and your lovely wife at the FL Synthzone Jam in April. I now have an excuse to vacation in historic Charleston, South Carolina and visit you inland as well.

Scott

Scott,

I could sure use some education in playing the keyboard. You are always welcome like other members in our home.

Bebop,

Off the coast and away from the big cities.
