One of my favourite John Barry themes. It was a brilliant movie too, though maybe more of a chick flick. Haha A nice piano arpeggio style might do it, But to get those soaring strings, tend to think it would have to be sequenced. I have played it on my keyboard , didn’t sound like that though. Just checked one of the online music stores to see if it was available as a solo piano score. It was, I found sheet music for at least half a dozen John Barry movie themes. Remember many years back , ( probably 20 eek!) while I was still playing, couldn’t find any, now 6 of them wow. Going to have to start practicing . When I get a keyboard again (soon) I am going to make an attempt at that song. Of course it won't be like that, but I have a couple ideas to use chrord looper. Rikki, yes, yo and I are somewhat alike in that I used to play around too much with the board and not play songs enough, I think you loved tweeking styles! Let's play some music, and very well. I discovered the song from the movie which I probably saw a half dozen times by now. That film was fantastic. Underrated, in my opinion, but not really a movie for modern times...not enough sex and too much fairy-tale romance. I also like that genre of songs (including Windmills of Your Mind....An Affair to Remember...Theme from the Apartment). I listened to Richard Claderman play Adeline a few times now. What an absolutely gorgeous song! Rikki...if you need it, I have the full sheet music for Somewhere in Time.

Some really beautiful music , most of it , piano and strings. Unfortunately not a lot of it seems to be available in sheet music. Summer of 42, is another really nice one. Enya’s Watermark. I gave, most of my old sheet music away, but I kept all my Clayderman Albums plus a few other individual tunes. Majority arpeggio left hand. Somewhere In Time I don’t think I’ve ever had. The wife and I started our marriage playing the songs from "Goodbye Mr Chips". Leslie Bricusse songs like "You and I" and "What a Lot of Flowers". She used to accompany me on our (suitcase) Fender Rhodes. A monster to haul to a gig, but a wonderful instrument to experience for sure. So anytime, get in touch, as I mentioned I did keep some of my favourite sheet music, nearly all arpeggio type left hand. It wasn’t the right type of style to learn, but it was pre arranger days , I then had to start from scratch and learn to play chords. Haha I don’t think we ever discussed what type of music we did enjoy at the time. More’s the pity. I had to replace a couple tines on the low end. Fortunately, they were easy to acquire at the time and just needed a wrench as the top lifted right off as I recall.
