especially when you're nearing the end. My wife was looking through some old wallets when she came across two photos of me that were taken in 1958 with one of the first Polaroid cameras. I was a skinny kid, just 135-pounds, 6-feet-tall and in serving aboard the USS Newport News (CA-148), a 760-foot long heavy cruiser and seeing the world. Just thought I would share the photos with the good folks on this forum. My wife said I looked a lot like the actor James Dean.


Sure would like to see some photos of other forum members when they were this age and hear about what they were doing in life.

How old were you at that stage. Fascinating finding old photos. My mum has all my childhood pics.
My own collection starts from wedding pics on, age 20.
Mainly took photos of the hubby and kids, prefer taking to being in them.
