Hi Paul,
ancient or not, sounded great. Didn’t realise you had one.
No actually I have never had an Audya, but I did have an SD1+.

That jingle tree? sound at 1.06 min and further on, made me think it might be a Ketron. Literally rang a bell from a long time ago . Haha

Yes so called ancient like the G70
but still sounds amazing in the right hands as yours Paul..

Thanks Donny. While the Audya is maybe dated in some respects, it has a very special sound especially in the accompaniment that I haven’t heard in other keyboards. I guess that’s way I still have it after all these years!

Thank you Russ. We wish we could play jazz at your level! But not sure where we could play out here even if we could!

Yes Rikki, I thought you had a Ketron at some point. The “jingle tree” you hear is me playing a glissando down the keyboard using an electric piano sound. I have been told that I over do this! I do this often to cue my wife when to come in . I guess if I had chops like Mark, I’d do some quick arpeggios, but that’s not going to happen anytime soon!

When I was with Prince AJ & Fran at the lab a few times he explicitly showed us in detail all of the many traits and super features that the Audya can provide,..it is a very capable arranger and one of the very few that I never took home sadly. Dig In ..
