A Genos or SX900 would certainly enhance a songwriter's ability to create sounds that get more attention in Nashville... or wherever the "pitch" to Artists, Producers or Labels might be happening.
Unfortunately, the doors of opportunity don't open for most of us unless the song is an immediate bombshell.
Sounds like this young man might be able to move up the ladder to success. He's certainly in the right place with the right instrument.
