If you just got to push buttons, this is the way to do it. I consider this PLAYING AN INSTRUMENT and doing it well. Very creative and very enjoyable. Very talented young lady.

What she plays, she plays really brilliantly, and together with the very professional singing it is excellent multitasking. Nevertheless, keep in mind 80% of the music is preprogrammed.

Actually, it's the old discussion style versus midi file again. With a style you control at least the chord progression, it can be spontaneous, and depending on how you use styles, if they are lean you can add a lot yourself live.
I always think: how much of it would the player be able to keep if the storage or electricity would collapse and they had to do the same on a piano or guitar...
Just watching it again, actually I'd say 90% is preprogrammed, she's adding one live part of maybe 10 at a time.
It's the evolution of music and society, we are slowly becoming Borgs and can't do much about it, it's definitely even more computer-dependent than an arranger.

You can see and hear that the music is in every nerve in her body.

Yeahhhhh, BUT, (to me) she clearly demonstrates two things; 1. She has talent, and 2. SHE CAN PLAY. I'm not a huge fan of arranger performances but when performed by say, Marco Parisi (yeah, I know, I use him a lot as an example) I'm just as fascinated by the performance as if it had been done on piano, organ, or synth. As Paul always says..."It not the keyboard.....".

What a neat setup! And everything is so compact! She gets many interesting sounds from it. The fact that she also has a keyboard is cool! Too futuristic for my taste and talent level, but she does a fantastic job, while making it look very easy.
