What a coincidence. I had the pleasure of meeting up with an esteemed 'zoner' today as well. Capt Russ and his son and I met for a fun-filled lunch today. Although it was my turn, Russ (as usual) tried to pick up the check. When I noticed that it wasn't too big, I quickly grabbed it (with the full intention of loading up next time when it's his turn
). No pics although Russ had thousands of dollars worth of photographic equipment (you have to be careful when you're in Witness Protection
). Russ' son is very knowledgeable about a certain hobby of mine (videography) so I had to take advantage of this opportunity to learn something. Russ, of course, has more stories than he can cram into a given time period
but they are all super interesting to me as most of the characters in his past happen to be musical heroes of mine. Always enjoy meeting up with Russ and always look forward to our next meetup.
