The mi.1 nice and small is really neat. I met the owner a previous Yamaha engineer at NAMM a few years ago. The mi.1 can only interface with IOS/Mac. Windows 10 does support Bluetooth MIDI and recognize the mi.1, but it requires another layer of software or hardware for 99.9 percent of today's DAWs to take advantage of it. The WIDI Master doesn't need a computer; it will interface directly with another WIDI Master, other Bluetooth MIDI controllers, its own WIDI Bud, IOS/Mac, and so forth.

CME Pro reached their goal of 1,000 registrations in 7 days. If they reach their 2nd goal of 3,000 registrations, they will give another $10 discount which will bring the WIDI Master price down to $29. https://www.cme-pro.com/

CME Pro reached their goal of 3,000 registrants. Those who signed will pay only $29,99 for a unit instead of $59.99. It seems that you can still register to get the discount coupon. Their next project is USB Bluetooth MIDI.

Such nonsense, most latency on wifi comes from other clients using the same bandwith...

The Wifi protocol is much like a classroom of squeeking children...
sure there are 12 channels, but see them as classrooms that all have their doors open..

Now try to listen to all those things at the same time..

Wifi, espescially the 2.4ghz can never have low latency all the time, only under ideal situations..
The 5ghz band is much better, but also isn’t really fit for large mobs of people..

If you want low latency, go for bluetooth..
Its a 1 on 1 connection that shuts out the rest

It seems that you were responding to some "nonsense" post in regards to WIFI/Bluetooth that had been deleted?

I would have bought them at the asking price. It is a win win situation.

You are absolutely right, Bernie. No other company in the world makes anything like the WIDI Bud and these new Bluetooth MIDI devices that CME will introduce. I told them that they should look into making a MIDI foot controller specifically designed for keyboard players. There are tons of MIDI foot controllers for guitar players but not for keyboard players.
