A great move on the part of IK Multimedia. I've their Leslie plugin for PC/Mac. Many diehard Hammond players seem to really like it. OK, so this app is $99. I guess it is not bad considering the PC version is $300. Still much more expensive than other VST plugins such B5, VB3 II, or Blue3. I will say it's about time we saw vArrnager on the IOS or Android device.

Personally I don’t use organ sounds that much so I skip this one. I have great organs on Korg module pro that’s enough but for Hammond fans this a great app. I really like the syntronik app from IK Multimedia but that’s another story

I can inderstand people skip this one, they ended the introduction offer, now the price is.€110, which is ridiculous for an ipad app, even a good one... its totally out of tune with the normal pricing of apps. Which is the main reason i adapted to the ipad from my mac.

OK, those 3 specific pianos don't play on mine, either. Probably the links are dead. No more pianos for me as I've maxed out my 128 gb storage. I am looking into the 12.9 Pro. The current generation came out in 2018. So I will wait until the next gen comes out. Chris

That would be Februari or March 2020 according to Apple’s vloggers... Nothing official tough.. Its expected to have 30% more CPU power (A13x) and double the memory (all options)

Thank you Torch, I’ll stop trying. Thought it might have been me doing something wrong.
Rikki if you are looking for a nice piano app you can try Ravenscroft 275. Also the Ivory AmD available as a iap purchase in Korg module pro sound very good.

Thank you Frans, I have a few really good ones on my laptop, but , haven’t used them in quite a while. Hooked the laptop up yesterday and ended up with horrible humming and distortion. Don’t think it’s the vsts. Think maybe laptop is on its way out or I’ve done something the settings.
Actually have the 3 I mentioned on laptop and was hoping to hear if they sounded as good on iPad, just in case. I can’t get laptop working again.
Thank you for the 2 you mentioned, I’ll check them out.
just asking this question.....aren't the sounds good enough on the keyboards you own?... I don't see the need for all these other ones popping up all over.. what am I missing or what are you people missing to make you look for others?..
Using sounds of one keyboard get bored very quickly. In the past I always own many synths together with an arranger but today you can use your iPad for that and is much cheaper. For example you won’t found that typical Moog sound on your Yamaha but the Moog model d app comes very close. Most transmutations of classic synths sound really good and authentic.

It still sells for $99 in the US. For an IOS app it is certainly much higher than most other apps. However, apps like HDS iSound would cost over $450 just for a few instruments. I bought IK Multimedia's PC/Mac Leslie sim for $79 when it was on sale. It usually sells for $129. Now it is on big sale for $51. The Leslie sim sounds so good that I dropped the idea of getting a Neo Ventilator. I heard Hammond players saying that they would certainly do gigs with this IOS version. In that respect, $99 is not bad at all.

I decided to buy this app; it's expensive for an iPad app, but to have a 'real' Hammond-sanctioned B3 emulator, with a great Leslie effect too, seemed worth it. I have been playing it and comparing to my Genos ... the IK B-3X app to my ears sounds MUCH better as a drawbar/B3 emulation, and I like the Leslie effects in it much more than the "Real Rotary" effect on the Genos.
I am trying to figure out how to integrate this into my setup ... I also like the interface, the way it organizes presets and drawbar settings, and it seems to have plenty of MIDI capabilities so I could control it via my M-Audio Code49 that I use in conjunction with my Genos.
I'm no great Hammond player; I need to do some study/practice to get some good 'stuff' from this app (i.e. improve my technique) but the app is very inspiring . . .

I'm not surprised to hear that you feel the B3x and its Leslie sim sound much better than your Genos. Once, a local musician demonstrated for me the organ sounds in his Yamaha arranger and his Hammond XK series keyboard. Yamaha wasn't bad, but it was pretty easy to tell that the Hammond XK keyboard was much closer to its own Hammond sounds. I'm sure that Hammond-Suzuki shared their secret recipe with IK Multimedia. Perhaps that's why they jacked up the prices for both PC/Mac and IOS versions. I haven't purchased the PC version yet as I have other organ plugins. Besides, IK Multimedia has big sales once in a while. I hope that Korg doesn't get the wrong idea when they introduce their IOS version of Triton.
